In order to solidify the long-term growth of the Foundation's goals, I recently donated an office building valued at $5,000,000 to a Charitable Remainder Trust. Its purpose is to use the proceeds from its sale, at some future date, to establish The Louis J. Appignani Freethought Secular Center in the Miami area either through a University or another nonprofit, which will provide a home for any qualifying secular organization that will further the mission statement of the Foundation. The center will be governed by a Board of Directors.
